BNCA Table Tennis Club, Recreation Hall, John Ray Gardens, Black Notley, Braintree,
Essex CM77 8NE - ETTA PremierClub Registration no. 1397
Our green barriers are now kept in the shed in the side garden (through the fire exit doors on the right hand side of the hall). Once more space has been freed up in the shed, the blue barriers and scoring tables will also be kept there. There are battery lights just inside the shed (LED) and at the back. The key to the shed is kept in the bar on the same keyring as the key to our under-stage cupboard.
The Black Notley Community Association are looking into whether they may need to carry out a full replacement of the electrics in the building including the lighting. Thanks to one of our members - Alan Cook - a temporary repair has been made to the hall lights and the lighting in the corridor behind the stage.
Members are reminded that the tables must be stacked neatly after play and nets and posts must be put away properly in their boxes and locked in the under-stage cupboard. We have already had to replace the cupboard door once (thanks go to Tom Brown’s dad Mark) because of previous damage so please be careful when opening it. (The key is kept in the bar.)
